UGA EXPRESS – DAMÜLS
At the valley station of Uga Express, you’ll find ample parking as the starting and ending point for your mountain hike in Damüls. After a comfortable ride on the chairlift, you’ll be in close proximity to Damülser Mittagspitze (2,095 m) and can climb it in a short time (surefootedness required). Additionally, there are wide gravel paths starting directly from the mountain station near Elsenalpstube. These paths are easily accessible even with a stroller. Therefore, you can choose between an extensive mountain tour or a leisurely walk around Uga-Alpsee.
MOUNTAIN PANORAMA ON THE SUN TERRACE
At the top station of Uga Express, you’ll find not only an impressive mountain panorama but also a large children’s water playground and the sun terraces of Elsenalpstube and Berggasthof Uga-Alp. Between the two mountain guesthouses is “Michel’s Sennhütte,” just below the mountain station. Here, you can buy local mountain cheese and taste a freshly “tapped” glass of cow’s milk.

PANORAMA DOUBLE CHAIRLIFT STAFELALPE – FASCHINA
360-Degree Panorama
Take the double chairlift and treat yourself to this wonderful panoramic ride from the 1,486 m high Faschinajoch. A spectacular panorama awaits you at the middle station of Hahnenkopf at 1,780 m. From here, a charming high-altitude hiking trail leads through a unique protected Alpine flora at the end of the Biosphere Park Großes Walsertal.
Flower Educational Trail Faschina
The highlight of the cable cars in Faschina is undoubtedly the famous Flower Educational Trail Faschina. This constantly updated trail starts from the middle station and goes up to the 1,865 m high mountain station. Along this path, numerous information boards are placed directly next to the respective plants. If you prefer not to read on your own, you can join a professionally guided tour by BERGaktiv twice a week.
Summer Inclusive Card – Bregenzerwaldcard
The Faschina cable cars are part of the Bregenzerwaldcard summer network, so you can ride the Stafelalpbahn for free! Traditional events and activities complement the offerings of the Faschina cable cars.
