Cross-country skiing is very popular as an alternative to skiing or as a good way to recharge your batteries in the fresh air. Especially when the trails are as beautiful and well-maintained as in the Bregenzerwald.
Together, the trails in the Bregenzerwald are over 320 km long. They lead through floodplains, snow-covered forests, across wide meadows and past the typical wood-shingled houses. You can choose between skating trails and classic trails.

Description of the trail
The Dorf cross-country ski trail has access points at the following locations: Bergbahnen, Friedhof, Schwimmbadbrücke-Unterrain, Übermellen (opposite the Hotel Kreuz) and in the Klaus parcel. The trail runs through the Klaus, Mellen, Übermellen, Unterrain, Moos, Oberfeld and Hinterbündt parcels. The trail has some gentle ascents and descents and is suitable for cross-country skiers of all abilities.
