In addition to alpine winter sports, cross-country skiers can also enjoy a fantastic offer in Damüls Faschina. Two trails with a total of eleven sunny kilometers are groomed daily and are located at snow-sure altitudes of 1,500 and 1,700 meters.
Popular among flat terrain enthusiasts
The “Unterdamüls” trail is located between the “Kirchdorf” and Oberdamüls and runs in flat terrain to Alpe Unterdamüls, from where you can return on the same route. The round trip distance is 6 km. The starting point of the trail is accessible by the free local bus (bus stop: Gasthaus zum Glöckle).
Perhaps the highest trail in Vorarlberg
The second trail, “Stofel,” is located in Oberdamüls, near Gasthaus Zimba. You can also reach this trail by the free local bus. This circular route is very sunny and is also groomed for skating. The partially steep terrain is situated at around 1,700 m, and the length of the trail covers 5 km.
Please note that in case of snowfall, the Unterdamüls trail is prioritized for grooming!
