The Mellaubahn was built a few years ago and is a convenient feeder to the Roßstelle mountain station. Once at the top, a breathtaking mountain panorama awaits you.
Both the valley station and the mountain station are clad in wood and are therefore also worth seeing architecturally.
The ride from Mellau up the mountain takes just six minutes. Even during the ride, you can enjoy a beautiful view over the village and the valley from the 10-seater gondolas. On the mountain, you can stop off at cozy mountain inns, enjoy the view and set off on one of the hiking trails.
